§ 15-127. Designating certain speed limits for certain streets.

Whenever an ordinance or regulation of the city provides that certain speed regulations shall be applicable upon specified streets or parts of streets or in certain areas, the chief of police acting as traffic engineer shall erect and maintain appropriate signs or other devices giving notice thereof, and no such ordinance or regulation shall be effective until such signs or other devices are erected and in place.
