§ 17-24. Organization.

  • (a)

    The commission shall elect its chairman, and such other officers as are necessary, from among its appointed members. The terms of the chairman and such other officers shall be one year, or until their successors are duly elected and qualified.

    (b)

    The commission shall appoint a secretary, who may be an officer or employee of the city or of the county, or of the commission. The secretary shall keep minutes of the meetings and shall perform such other functions as may be required of him.
