§ 19-52. Maintenance of historic property.

(a)

Ordinary repair. Ordinary maintenance or repair of any exterior architectural features in or on an historic property, that does not involve a material change in design, material, or outer appearance thereof, is excluded from review.

(b)

Conformity to existing building codes. Nothing in this article shall be constructed as to exempt property owners from complying with existing city or county building codes, nor to prevent any property owner from making any use of his property not prohibited by other statutes, ordinances, or regulations.
