§ 3-32. Closing times.

  • (a)

    All premises upon which alcoholic beverages are sold by the bottle or package not for consumption on the premises and not in conjunction with another authorized business shall be closed and empty of customers between the hours of 1:55 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. except on Sundays when said premises shall be closed between the hours of 1:55 a.m. Sunday morning and 6:00 a.m. the following Monday morning. Notwithstanding the foregoing, premises where malt beverages, wine and/or distilled spirits are sold by the package may be open on Sundays between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

    (b)

    All premises upon which alcoholic beverages are sold for consumption on the premises shall be closed and empty of customers between the hours of 1:55 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., except on Sundays, when said premises shall be closed between the hours of 1:55 a.m. Sunday morning and 6:00 a.m. the following Monday morning.

    (c)

    Notwithstanding subsection (b), restaurants, as defined in section 3-1 of this chapter, whereupon alcoholic beverages are sold for consumption on the premises shall be allowed to be open on Sundays from 12:30 p.m. until 1:55 a.m. the following Monday morning.
