§ 5-91. Supplementary to other laws.

  • In interpreting and applying the provisions of the gas code adopted in this article, they shall be held to be the minimum requirements for the promotion of the public health, safety and general welfare; and as supplementary to all other laws, codes or regulations of the state, county or city, formulated in the interest of public health, safety or general welfare; and where the gas code imposes a greater restriction than is imposed by other laws, codes or regulations, the gas code shall govern, but where any other laws, ordinances, rules or regulations impose greater restrictions than are required by the gas code, such other provisions shall govern.
